Based on the Male Players List (Refer 15 Jan Post ),
CP with a NR of 1201 is ranked No.6,550 (Top 56%). Kampung player on the other hand with a NR of 1278, is ranked 4,706 (Top 41%) out of 11,714 players.
hAnA on the other hand with a NR of 1264 is ranked 878 (Top 23%) out of 3,856 Female Players (Female LIST).
Just as important is the Note/Prefix beside hAnA's & CP's name i.e. " NP (Jnr)"

The latest National Ratings are out....2 Days early as compared to the Official Release dates.
The NR will be used for events in the 1st Quarter of 2014 but will be superseded by the FIDE ratings in any FIDE-rated events....can only think of GACC as KL & Selangor Open will be in April & April-May respectively.
Now IF only the 2014 Events Calendar can be issued by MCF (Read Jan. BlogPOST ) soon.

Interesting to see how my personal ratings have suffered after the kamikaze mission during December's 5th Penang Open (Dec. BlogPOST ). However, the crap "dinosaur" iPad I'm using makes it almost impossible. Never mind, no rush....holidays 2moro.
Breakdown:-
(1) The cHEss pIRATE;
Gained 10.398 rating points (Quite surprising considering he didnt finish on 50%) from JB's 6th NJCC but, loss 23.983points from 5th Penang Open.
Hence, NET LOSS of 13.585 Rating points. Round up, 14points.
Therefore, his new NR is 1201.
(2) hAnA
Loss 17.221 & 23.964 rating points from 6th NJCC and 5th Penang Open respectively.
Quite surprising considering she'd finished both events with 4points (but still short of 50% mark i.e. 44.4445%). As a comparison for 5th Penang Open, CP had 3 points and lost 23.983 rating points whilst hAnA had 4points and lost just 0.019 rating points compared to CP!!!???
Hence, NET LOSS of 41.185 ratings points. Round up, 41points.
Therefore, her new NR is 1264
As for me and as expected my kamikaze mission at the 5th Penang Open where I'd only managed to get 3.5points ( 2 wins & 3 draws) resulted in a massive ratings points lost i.e. 104.xx points. Hence my latest NR = 1279. Ooh Well....Good Experience and exposure for me!
