hAnA's 1st attempt at Open Water Swimming or, OWS at the Port Dickson OWS 2018 - Challenge 2 concluded with an unexpected bonus - bronze medal in the 10-19 category.

Not much was expected in her first foray into OWS, especially since she opted for the longer 1.5km distance rather than the shorter 800m event which even surprised the coach. 

The only target set being "completing the race".

A surprise final appearance resulting in an unexpected silver in the seldom competed Sabre category.

Faiz lost in the finals to Zul Aidan 3 - 8.

The upset occurred in the semi-finals when the opponent who had beaten him 0-4 in the Pool had taken what seemed to be an unassailable lead and everyone had expected the results to be a foregone conclusion.
