The last Hurrah for Amir Faiz Amirul in the U12 category in the  KL Finals 

for Scrabble (SK Seri Bonus - 3 days) and Chess (SK Ayer Panas - 3 days).

Ranked 5th at U12 FOIL, NATIONAL (After MFF - Circuit 1 & 2 2019)

In the recently updated MFF rankings, Amir Faiz Amirul is ranked 5th nationally in the U12 Boys, FOIL category.

Amir Faiz with 36 points is ranked 5th after Kaerlan(96pts), Jayden(72), Jonas(54) &  HY(42).
Crcuit 3 will be held in September after UPSR whilst the Grand Finals is slated for November.

Hope he can break into the Top 4 by year's end.

Top 8 NATIONAL, U12 Boys FOIL - MFF Circuit 2

( MFF Circuit 2 Venue. A familiar place for some Fencers & Chess Players )

The Foil and Sabre scheduled clashed and a decision had to be made as to which event to participate in. Taking into account his recent results in both local and international, Foil was chosen but only just as Faiz was initially registered for the Sabre event.

Ranked #13 after the Pools with 3 Wins & 2 Losses.

ELIMINATIONS.

( FIRST TIME - Foil Repair, helped by Zul Aidan  in the midst of a bout due to 'loose' grip.

Eventually, had to change to a new 'stiff' Foil due to touches/thrusts not registered )

WON, 10 - 6

1/16:

v. Alex Yong (#4), MUSKETEERS

WON, 10 - 5.

QUARTER-FINALS:

v. J. Goh (#5), TOUCHE
