TEAM GOLD in U15 Boys Sabre - 2020 International Touche Minime

Finally, after 6 years of fencing Amir Faiz Amirul  won his first international gold medal as part of the Urban Juggernaut(UJ) team. The gold medal was achieved in the U15 Boys Sabre team competition. 

The UJ team consists of Ahmad Shazani, Zul Aidan and Amir Faiz Amirul. Ranked 1st after the individual competition, the UJ team defeated their rivals 45 - 37 in the finals.

BRONZE in 2020 International Minime Competition

Amir Faiz Amirul won his first international fencing medal in the 2020 International Touche Minime Competition.The competition saw fencers from 9 countries taking part with HK, Philippines and Singapore well represented in all weapons.

The Bronze medal in the U15 Sabre boys event was earned after finishing second in his Pool with 4 wins and 1 loss and being ranked 4th overall. In his pool duels, he managed to beat all 3 Indonesians and 1 Malaysian while losing to his team mate Aidan 2-5.

In the Eliminations he managed to qualify until the semis where he lost 6-15 to eventual silver medalist Ershad Halid also from Malaysia.
